Vocational Examinations
Dates & Times: Each student registered for the Vocational Examinations will receive a notification letter with a specific date, time &
central location for her or his RAD Examination (usually in February)
Location: Susan Hayward School of Dancing, Montara, CA
Students:
Please arrive at least ONE hour before your scheduled time to allow time for stretching. Please ONLY use the upstairs restroom.
Please wear the appropriate ballet attire (including black elastic belt), hair up in a bun & bring your pointe shoes (female students).
Please bring your RAD notification letter and a photo ID card. These are required for admission to the Vocational Examinations
Parents: (very important during the actual exams)
Please keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb exams that are in progress
Please park in the school's parking lot, as there is NO parking on Le Conte Street.
No parents are allowed to observe the exam but they may QUIETLY wait in the dance school sitting area or remain in their cars.
Please do NOT walk around the building. Please, ONLY use the upstairs restroom.
