Here are some additional reminders:

1)  Please remember that all Variations - Classical and
Contemporary – may not exceed the time limit of 2 minutes and 30
seconds. Participants whose music exceeds this limit will be
penalized, from lowering their total score to being disqualified from
the competition.

2)  When performing a Pas de Deux, only the Adagio and Coda are
permitted.  Internal Variations are not permitted to be included in
the performance of Pas de Deux’s.

3)  Participants whose registration forms reach the YAGP office
after the deadline (either submitted online or with a postmark date
past the deadline) will be subject to a $25.00 late-registration fee.
The registration deadline for each U.S. semi-final is 30 days before
the first day of the competition at that location.  The registration
deadline for New York City Finals is 2 weeks following the Sunday
of the Semi-Final at which the participant qualified for the NYC
Finals.

4)  Changes (NOT corrections) to entries after the schedule has
been published will be charged a $25.00 additional processing fee.

5)  All registration fees must be paid in full by registration time at
the venue.  Participants’ music will not be accepted without full
payment or proof that full payment has been made.

6.)  Participants wishing to perform variations other than those
listed in the attached "Suggested Choreography List"  must contact
the Regional Office at 201.444.3121 or 410.869.0088.  For
variations requiring written permission from the choreographer,
his/her heirs, or their Foundation, the letter of permission must be
provided to YAGP office along with the registration forms no less
than 2 weeks prior to the competition at which the variation will be
performed.

7.)  To ensure accuracy and timely processing, YAGP strongly
recommends registering online using the online registration form.
After receiving a letter from YAGP confirming that their online
registration has been received and processed, participants must
submit their payment via check or money order to YAGP, P.O. Box
21129, Catonsville, MD, 21228 within 2 weeks.  This format and
procedure may  be used for both Solos and Ensembles.  Schools
may submit multiple registration
forms for Ensembles. See the website for more information.

I hope this information was helpful to you.  If you have any
questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I look forward to hearing from you, and wish you all the best for a
wonderful 2011 season of Youth America Grand Prix.
