For the past several years, we have offered free dance classes at the Fremont Main Library, “Movement and Music” for Ages 3 to 5
years old. The classes have been quite popular and well-attended with students arriving 15 minutes early to obtain their free
admission ticket. Generally three multi-week sessions have been offered each school year with the first session beginning in
November and the last session ending in June.

During the 2008 Christmas season, students from Rachel's Ballet entertained audiences at three venues: NewPark Mall, Newark,
CA; Aegis Senior Home, Fremont, CA; and Warm Springs Business District Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Classical ballet as
well as contemporary pieces were performed for an hour at each appearance delighting audiences.

Rachel's Ballet is passionate about bringing the gift of
dance to the community - exposing and educating everyone
from young children to seniors about the world of dance,
and particularly ballet.
We offer free classes at the Fremont Main Library and free
performances in and around the Fremont area.

- March 10, 2010-Wed, 5:30-6:00pm, at our MV-Mission Valley
Studio at Las Palmas Ave & Mission Blvd. A second OPEN
AUDITION for The Nutcracker 2010 will be held in response
to those who could not attend the Saturday audition. This is
your LAST opportunity to audition. All ballet levels, boys &
girls, please arrive no later than 5:15pm to register, have
your measurements taken, warm-up, & audition. Audition
Fee is $25. Casting notices will be emailed on 03/11/2010.
- March 6, 2010 Saturday - OPEN Auditions for The Nutcracker
2010 Performance
- The March 6th classes for IF/IN Master Class, G5 Honor,
A1/A2 Master Class have been cancelled due to auditions.
Make up classes are Tue, Contemporary 3:45-5pm at MV -or-
Thu, Jazz/Hip Hop 4:30-5:30pm at MG.
- April 5, 2010 Mon through April 10, 2010 Sat - Spring Break
(No Classes)
- April 22, 2010 Thu - Mock Graded Exams at MV Studio.
Parents may observe. No classes at MV and MG studios.
Jazz/Hip Hop students can attend a make-up class on
Tuesday at the MV studio with Contemporary Dance from
3:45-5:00pm.
- April 23, 2010 Fri - Mock Graded Exams at MV Studio.
Parents may observe. No classes at MG studio. No classes
at MV studio, except A2 Class will be held later at 8:15 -
9:45 pm.
- April 24, 2010 Sat - RAD Graded Exams at MV Studio. NO
parent observation. No classes at MG and MV studios,
except Ms. Coreen's Saturday classes starting at 1:30pm to
6:00pm will be moved to the MG Studio for today only.
- May 4, 2010 Tue - Picture Day at MV-Mission Valley Studio
(no classes). Please come with hair & make-up ready and
bring your ballet shoes.
- May 26 & 27, 2010 Wed-Thu - Recital Preparation Days
- May 28, 2010 Fri, 4-9pm - Dress Rehearsal
- May 29, 2010 Sat, 5:00pm - Recital (Tentative time)
- May 31, 2010 Mon - Memorial Day (No classes)
- June 19, 2010 Sat - Last Day of School Year
- July 12, 2010 to September 4, 2010 - Summer Session
