During the 2008 Christmas season, students from Rachel's
Ballet entertained audiences at three venues: NewPark Mall,
Newark, CA; Aegis Senior Home, Fremont, CA; and Warm
Springs Business District Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony,
Fremont, CA. Classical ballet as well as contemporary pieces
were performed for an hour at each appearance delighting
audiences.

Rachel's Ballet is passionate about bringing the gift of dance
to the community - exposing and educating everyone from
young children to seniors about the world of dance, and
particularly ballet.
For the past several years we have offered FREE classes at
the Fremont Main Library and FREE performances in and
around the Fremont and Alameda County area.

To promote youth activities in the Fremont area, Rachel's
Ballet performed at the South Fremont Youth Expo on Sept.

As part of our community outreach, Rachel's Ballet has offered
free dance classes at the Fremont Main Library (part of the
Alameda County Library) since 2005. Free classes were again
offered in Fall 2011, Spring 2012 & Summer 2012.
For the first time, four free weekly dance classes were also held
at the Pleasanton Public Library in Fall 2011. Free classes will
again be offered in Summer 2013.
At the libraries, young children (ages 3 to 5), can experience
movement, music, and dance in an informal setting with their
parents nearby. Classes are for children ages 3 to 5 only and are
taught by Rachel's Ballet instructors. Space is limited.

We staged our first production of THE NUTCRACKER ballet in
December 2010 and again in 2011 and 2012 with two FREE
full-length performances as part of our community outreach.
