Our Program
Rachel’s Ballet is a unique school of dance that provides the best possible classical ballet training. In addition to classical
ballet, auxiliary classes in contemporary dance and jazz/hip hop are offered.

- Member Royal Academy of Dance (RAD)
- Classes are based on the renowned Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) teaching system, the most comprehensive,
relevant program of classical ballet available - RAD syllabus is age appropriate to match the abilities of the students
- Small class sizes enable instructors to provide personal attention to individual students
- Classes offer opportunities for learning and advancement through the use of annual RAD examinations. Students are
evaluated objectively by RAD examiners who travel internationally - Annual recitals in a professional facility provide valuable performance experience
- Rachel's Ballet staff members are RAD certified instructors with years of professional dance and teaching experience
to ensure quality instruction. One of our instructors is a RAD Certified Examiner. Please refer to our Faculty web page
for individual instructor resumes - Classes follow the school year beginning in September and ending in June
- Summer session classes are also available

Royal Academy of Dance
- The Royal Academy of Dance is an international organization based in London, England
- It is the largest, most influential dance teacher training and examining body for classical ballet in the world
- The RAD syllabus is divided into grades. It is advisable for students to pass an examination in one grade before
progressing on to the next - The vocational syllabus is for students continuing on to professional training
- Only teachers who have been through Royal Academy training are certified and may enter students for RAD
examinations

schools, homes and transportation - Our studios have raised wooden shock-absorbing floors (sprung floors) designed specifically for professional dance,
featuring the most current technology for the well-being, safety and health of our dancers - Parking facilities are close to studios, well-lit and maintained for safety
- Both studios are conveniently located on Mission Blvd for easy access
- The studio atmosphere is pleasant, encouraging and conducive to learning
